Shuntong (Anivia) Deng is an emerging scholar whose work bridges art history, material culture, and choral performance. Currently pursuing a B.F.A. in History of Art and Design with a minor in Book Arts at Pratt Institute, she brings a multidisciplinary approach to her practices—combining historical materials, visual cultures, and sacred music performance. With experience ranging from research assistantships in pigment analysis to concert performance at cathedrals, her work reflects a deep commitment to both intellectual inquiry and embodied artistic expression. Fluent in multiple languages, she moves fluidly between visual, textual, and sonic forms.
