Shuntong (Anivia) Deng is an emerging scholar and artist whose work bridges art history, material culture, and choral performance. Currently pursuing a B.F.A. in History of Art and Design with a minor in Book Arts at Pratt Institute, she brings a multidisciplinary approach to her practices—combining scientific analysis of historical materials, visual design, and sacred music performance. With experience ranging from research assistantships in pigment analysis to concert performance at major NYC cathedrals, her work reflects a deep commitment to both intellectual inquiry and embodied artistic expression. Fluent in multiple languages, she moves fluidly between visual, textual, and sonic forms.
